Start with one project.
Build from there.
You do not need to move your whole business at once. Use a familiar project to learn where things go and try your first handoff to West.
Set up your business workspace
Create your account and work through the business setup. Choose a plan that fits your team and the amount of work you want to delegate. Start with the parts you need today.
Compare plans →Add one customer and one project
Enter a customer’s contact details and property information. Create the project with a clear scope and the dates you know. You now have somewhere to keep the details for the next conversation.
See customer and project records →Prepare something you would otherwise do by hand
Create the first quote or ask West to prepare a draft. Supply the scope, quantities, and prices you want to use. Review the result and make adjustments before approving or sharing it.
Choose a task to delegate →Bring in the rest as you need it
Add tasks and schedule the work, record expenses, and prepare invoices. Add your team details and reusable catalog items. Connect Gmail when you are ready to handle email in West.
Explore the whole workspace →Have the customer’s contact details, project scope, and any agreed prices ready. You can add more information as the work develops.
Practical questions, answered.
Do I have to set up everything before I can use West?
Start with one customer and one real project. Add the project details, create a quote or task, and bring in team records, catalog items, and email when you need them. You can work directly in the pages as well as through West.
What can I delegate to West?
West can find and summarize records, prepare quotes and invoices, draft email replies, and propose supported record and schedule changes. The delegation guide shows concrete examples. Available actions depend on your account, role, and connected services.
Does West send messages or change records without me?
Supported changes are presented as proposals for review and approval. Delivery is a separate step: check the recipient and content before approving a send. Read-only questions do not require you to approve a record change.
Can I keep using my existing tools?
You can begin with the work you want to manage in West. Gmail can be connected for email workflows. Check the available integration before assuming another system will sync; not every external tool is connected.
Is this suitable for a small crew?
You can start with customer records, projects, and quotes, then use more of the workspace as your work grows. Compare the team sizes and West task allowances on the pricing page to choose the right plan.
How much time will it save?
That depends on your projects, the information you provide, and the work you delegate. Start with a recurring task such as preparing quotes or catching up on customer email, and compare the preparation and review effort in your own business.
