Welcome to West. Let’s walk through a contractor’s day. The Dashboard brings active projects, money to collect, and the schedule into view. Start here to see what needs attention, then open the work behind the numbers.

0:13 · Keep the customer context

Before the next call, open Clients. Contact details, properties, notes, and work history have a home here. For a repeat customer, that means you can pick up the conversation with the project context close by.

0:27 · Prepare the next quote

Quotes is where an enquiry becomes a proposal. Review draft, sent, and accepted quotes, then open the one you need. Build the scope and line items, check the prices, and preview the document before sharing it with your customer.

0:43 · Follow the work through its stages

Once the project is agreed, Projects keeps it moving. Each record brings together the customer, scope, stage, schedule, and related work. You can open a project to find the tasks, materials, quotes, and invoices behind it.

0:58 · Make the next action visible

Tasks turns a project into manageable next steps. A site check, a materials check, or a final inspection can each have its own details and status. Use the filters to focus on the work you need to follow up.

1:12 · See the scheduled work

Calendar puts scheduled projects on the same timeline. Switch between day, week, and month to review upcoming work. Check the project dates before making another commitment, and confirm crew availability before changing the plan.

1:27 · Look at the projects geographically

Map adds location to the picture. Find project sites and review the information around them before planning a visit. Now you have the customer, the scope, the next tasks, and the location connected to the work.

Try the same approach on your next project.

Start with a customer and a project you know. Put the details in West, prepare the next quote or task, and review the result.
